John Cleary, Founder/Partner Prior to founding A Player Executive Search in 2006, John developed his recruitment skills working for a top-rated search firm in Orange County, California. He played a major role in finding and placing talented sales execs within some of the tech industry’s greatest success stories. Before entering the recruitment side of the tech business, John spent 14 years in a number of sales and sales management roles, all within the tech sector. Most recently he was a regional sales manager at BSquare Corporation (BSQR), a Microsoft “embedded” partner. Before that he was the Regional Sales Director at Annasoft, another Microsoft partner. His first job after graduating from UC Riverside with a Business Degree was as a field sales representative for Canon Inc. (CAJ). Bonnie Ropka, Associate As an Associate at A-Player Executive Search, Bonnie brings a winning
combination of enthusiasm, work ethic, and determination to her role. She began her career selling office equipment for Ricoh and Savin Technology in New York City. She later ventured westward securing an account manager position at LA-based database design and software integrator R.B. Zack and Associates. Then she caught the Hollywood bug and parlayed it into parts in films like Legally Blonde and Mannequin II, and the hit tv series The Girls Next Door. When she isn't working diligently for her clients, she hosts evenings at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. |
